You can choose to strain this and simply use the garlic-infused honey, or you can eat the honey-fermented cloves.
Or you can do BOTH! You can use the honey and eat 1 garlic clove daily for regular “maintenance” or as needed when sick.
🍯 Honey is really rich in antioxidants and can help with inflammation, redness, and even swelling. It has anti-fungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. It’s a great remedy that gives our immune systems a boosts in general but especially when we have a pesky cough or the flu.
🧄 Garlic has been also used for many moons to treat colds and coughs. It’s also been used as a remedy to help reduce blood pressure, help with toothaches, and even infections. Garlic also contains a high amount of an antioxidant called kyolic acid which may help protect the brain from issues due to aging and disease.
⭐️⭐️ Now imagine combining these two! What a powerhouse!!
I used raw honey AND manuka honey along with fresh garlic cloves.
Once you have everything mixed, simply let your jar sit on your counter and use as needed. The longer it sits, the more it ferments which means the better it will be. That said, you don’t have to wait to start using either, but I’d suggest letting it sit at least a few days.
